In Colorado Springs you may be able to bicycle to the store or walk to nearby restaurants, but in order to get to Woodland Park and once in Woodland Park, public transportation is virtually non-existent. Biking/walking is not feasible for transportation to school in most situations due to mountainous terrain and wintery weather; it can snow as early as September and as late as May.
